Weekly Post: May 23rd-26th

Hope everyone had a great long weekend!

Just a couple of reminders as we begin our week:

1. EQAO starts Tuesday. If there is going to be morning announcements they will take place right at 9:20AM. Please do not make any announcements from your classrooms as we do not want to interrupt our students taking the assessments. Please remind students to be extra quiet in the halls while they are making transitions.
2. Last chance for the St. George Staff Shirts. Order goes in Wednesday morning. There is also the students order at the office that you can order from as well.

Weekly Post: May 15 – 19

I hope everyone had a great weekend. Especially the Mother’s on Sunday!

It is a short week as we do have a PD Day on Friday. Stay tuned for more information but ….. We will start an hour early so we can leave early. Half of the day is Health and Safety and the other half we will find out in the next day or so.

CUPE Members: If you are going to the ‘Better Me Better You Conference’, please let me know. Should you be attending another workshop or using a vacation day let me know that as well.

Tuesday is National Denim Day. Wear your jeans and bring in a donation!

• If you coached a team this year, organized an extracurricular activity or club and want to go to the Elementary Athletic Banquet, let me know and the school will cover the cost of your ticket. Please let Fiona know ASAP if you would like to attend.
• Here is that order for for the SGE Staff Shirts. Only 7 ordered so far!! Remember they are only !!10!!
• We are also putting in an order for Dragon wear as well. If you are interested there will be some forms on the staff room table. Orders are due Thursday.

Check another major item of the school year checklist…… Catholic Education Week is over. Thank you so much to the committee for making everything come together. There were also many people that helped out and were not on the committee at our various events. Special thanks to you as well!

We do have a staff meeting on Tuesday AM. If you have any items, please send them my way by Monday at noon. I would like to get the agenda out to all of you before the meeting. Part of the meeting will be looking at class lists for the upcoming school year.
